A little sitter session is a perfect way to capture a part of their first year. The first year is probably the time your little one grows and develops the MOST! From that tiny new baby to their first smile, their first laugh, first roll-over, first solid food, first tooth. The list goes on; sitting, crawling, and sometimes even walking before their first birthday! What a mouth full and what a year!!
A little sitter photoshoot is done when your baby is around six months old and when they can sit unsupported. It is important to note that this session is done when they can sit BUT before they can crawl. So if you are thinking of doing this type of photoshoot, get it in the diary with your photographer. Most photographers will schedule this in as a tentative date and confirm the session as soon as your baby can sit by themselves.
After you have done your sitter you will want to look at doing a “Cake Smash” photoshoot for your baby’s first birthday.
